Synagogue (Šurany)
The synagogue in Šurany , a Slovak town in the Nové Zámky district , was built in 1916 and was used for worship until the Second World War . The profaned synagogue in the style of historicism is a protected cultural monument .
The synagogue building at Malá Street 2 has been used as a city museum and for cultural events since 2005 . The story of the Jews in Šurany is presented on the women's gallery.
