The secular synagogue is located on the former Long Street, today the address is ulic 3 Maja i Długie . The former synagogue has been a protected architectural monument since 1958 .
history
Since it was not only the Jews residing in Brieg who came to worship on high religious holidays , it became necessary to build a larger synagogue. It was built at a crossroads in the classicism style.
The synagogue was damaged during the November pogrom in 1938 and converted into a residential building in 1940. In the city, which was badly destroyed by the war in February 1945, the synagogue building has been preserved without major damage.
