The synagogue in Karlsbad ( Karlovy Vary in Czech ), the Czech district town of Okres Karlovy Vary , was built in 1877/78 and destroyed by the National Socialists in 1938.

history

Since 1860 there had been a small synagogue in Karlsbad, which was available to the Jewish spa guests. The representative new synagogue was built according to plans by the Stuttgart architect Adolf Wolff , who had already designed the synagogues in Ulm , Nuremberg , Stuttgart , Heilbronn and Łódź . The synagogue, with one large and two small side domes , was built in an oriental style .
