Synagogue in Senones

The synagogue in Senones , a French commune in the Vosges department in the Lorraine region , was built in 1896/97. The synagogue was inaugurated on March 11, 1897.

It was devastated during the German occupation in World War II . Since a Jewish community could no longer be established after 1945, the consistory sold the synagogue to the Protestant community with the indication that Protestants had helped the Jews during the persecution.
