The synagogue in Vitry-le-François , a French town in the Marne department in the Grand Est region , is at 7, rue du Mouton.

history

The old synagogue in Vitry-le-François was built with financial support from the municipality and the French state in 1883/85 and destroyed in a German bombing raid during the Second World War in 1940 .

In 1957 a new synagogue was built on the same site and it served the Jewish community of Vitry-le-François for worship until 2007 . Today cultural events take place in the building.
