Systra is a French engineering consultancy and site management company for the construction and development of rail and urban rail-based public transport based in Paris . Systra is a joint subsidiary of SNCF and RATP .

Projects

SYSTRA has been developing the metro network in Mexico City since 1967 and in Santiago-de-Chile since 1968. In 1970, the first work was carried out in Cairo (urban transport plan), later the detailed studies for underground line 1 Cairo .

Since 1974, studies have been carried out on the fully automated small-area metro VAL in Lille (France), later also the VAL systems in Taipei (Taiwan), Turin, Rennes and Toulouse (France) and the fully automated line 14 in Paris. SYSTRA becomes the leading engineering company in the development of fully automated subway systems.

Since 1988 SYSTRA has been involved in the planning and construction of the Channel Tunnel and the first high-speed line in Great Britain.

Organizational structure of SYSTRA

SYSTRA is subdivided into an Engineering Directorate (“Direction de l'Ingénierie”), a Consultation Directorate (“Systra Conseil”), four large regional commercial directorates and departments for technical and administrative support.

Furthermore, numerous branches belong to the Systra Group.

Advice Directorate ("Systra Conseil")

The Consulting Directorate was founded on March 1, 2009 and is largely based on the former planning department, which was previously assigned to the Engineering Directorate. The fields of activity in urban and rail transport are very extensive: strategy studies, feasibility studies , tariff issues, preliminary detailed and implementation studies for trams, design of transfer hubs (bus / tram / train / bicycle / parking), optimization studies for line operation, studies on intermunicipal and regional transport, ERTMS and ticketing , profitability studies, consulting , project assistance, advanced training for authorities and those who order local rail transport.

Engineering Directorate ("Direction de l'Ingénierie")

The engineering department consists of the three departments “Tunnel and Building Construction, Bridges ( GCOA )”, “Equipment and Transport Systems ( EST )” and “ Project Management ”.

Regional commercial directorates

The Company's Systra Group are the four regional trade directorates Region France ( "FRA") , Europe ( "EUR") , Region Africa-America-Middle East ( "AMA") and Asia Pacific ( "APA") assigned .
