The Szanto Spur is a mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It jumps out from the north face of Priestley Glacier at its head end.
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after the US radio operator Otto R. Szanto, who in the 1960s Worked on the McMurdo station in four campaigns for years .
