Scene area

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The stage area is the playing area in a meeting room on which the actors and performers present their pieces. This includes the ancillary areas connected on the same level, such as scenery and decoration areas, entrances, passageways and control stands. On the stage in a theater, the upper and lower stages are not part of the stage area. A distinction is made between stage areas directly in the assembly room (e.g. in multi-purpose halls ) or in a stage building separate from the auditorium (e.g. theater with a large stage ).

In the June 2005 version of the MVStättV § 2 (4) it says:

Scene areas are areas for artistic and other performances; Areas of less than 20 m² intended for performances are not regarded as stage areas
