Szpęgawsk

Szpęgawsk (German until 1920 Spengawsken , 1942–1945 Pangau ) is a village in the rural municipality of Starogard Gdański , formerly West Prussia . It is located about 7 kilometers northeast of Starogard Gdański and about 42 kilometers south of Danzig on the Tczew – Küstrin-Kietz railway .

In the forest to the west near Szpęgawsk , between September 1939 and January 1940, about 5,000 to 7,000 people were murdered by German occupiers.
