Robert Drijenčić (born April 20, 1996 ) is a German basketball player .

career

Drijenčić, son of basketball coach Mladen Drijenčić, played as a youth at Bayer Uerdingen , then for the offspring of Bundesliga club EWE Baskets Oldenburg , after his father had started a coaching position in Lower Saxony. Drijenčić made the leap into the squad of the Baskets Akademie Weser-Ems / Oldenburger TB ( 2nd Bundesliga ProB ), where he developed into a top performer over the years. Due to his good performance in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, he was also included in the extended squad of the Bundesliga club EWE Baskets Oldenburg. At the beginning of May 2018 he made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga as a coach under his father . With 19.9 points per game, Drijenčić was the best German scorer in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB in the 2019/20 season.

At the end of August 2020 he was signed by the second division Paderborn Baskets .
