Szymon Zimorowic (* around 1609 in Lemberg ; † June 21, 1629 in Krakow ) was a Polish poet.

The sparse information about Szymon Zimorowic comes from his older brother, the poet Józef Bartłomiej Zimorowic . He published the volume of poems Roksolanki twenty-five years after his death in 1654 . In 1663 he published Sielanki nowe ruskie as another work by his brother . Since the poems in this collection allude to events long after his death, it can be assumed that Bartłomiej published his own works here under the name of his brother. In any case, both works established Szymon Zimorowic's significant fame in the 18th century. Another work that Bartłomiej published under the name of his brother, Moschus polski, z greckiego na wiersz polski przełożony (1662), has been lost. Zimorowic's tombstone is in the Krakow Dominican Church .
