Türk Milli Birlik Hareketi ( German Turkish National Unity Movement ; Macedonian Движење за Национално Единство на Турците Dviženje za Nacionalno Edinstvo na Turcite ) is a political party in Macedonia . It was founded in 2006 by former supporters of the Turkish Democratic Party of Macedonia .
history
The party was founded in 2006 by Erdoğan Saraç in the western Macedonian city of Gostivar .
At the third party congress on March 22, 2015 Erdoğan Saraç was re-elected party chairman.
ideology
The party primarily represents the minority rights of the Turkish population in the Republic of Macedonia. In addition, she has many other more Turkish nationalist views. She campaigns for the protection of old mosques and claims that Turks who are not members of the VMRO-DPMNE have no chance of a job. She also claims that the Macedonian state places a time limit on Turkish radios. Among other things, she is in favor of Macedonia joining NATO and the European Union .
The party respects the territorial integrity , sovereignty and independence of the state of Macedonia and demands maximum labor rights and social protection. She also calls for a minimum four percent representation of the Turkish minority in the public service.
