The Türkiye Birlik Partisi ( Turkish for unity party of Turkey , abbreviation TBP ; until 1973 Birlik Partisi - unity party, BP) was a Turkish political party that tried to represent the Alevi - Shiite community of Turkey.
It was founded in 1966, renamed itself in 1973 and was dissolved by the putschists in 1981 . She was represented in parliament between the 1969 and 1973 elections .
A second attempt to establish a party of this type took place between 1996 and 1999 with the Peace Party , with the same initials (BP, Barış Partisi ).
