The Tōkyō Heliport ( Japanese 東京 へ リ ポ ー ト , Tōkyō Heripōto ) is a helipad in the district of Kōtō in southeast Tokyo , Japan .
The airport with the ICAO code RJTI is mainly used for charter flights in the larger Tokyo area as a feeder to the airports. The complex was built in 1964 and expanded significantly in 1972 and 1990. In addition to the air traffic control building, the terminal and the tower, the heliport has a total of 38 parking spaces, ten of which are for heavy helicopter classes. The operator is Tokyo Prefecture .
The Tokyo Heliport is also the location of the police, fire and rescue helicopter squadrons. There are several maintenance companies from various helicopter manufacturers at the heliport.
