Tōru Yoshida ( Japanese 吉田 暢 , Yoshida Tōru ; born May 17, 1965 in Iwate Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yoshida learned to play soccer on the school team at Morioka Commercial High School . He signed his first contract with Furukawa Electric in 1984 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1985/86 . In 1986 he won the JSL Cup with the club . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Furukawa Electric became JEF United Ichihara . For the club he completed 126 first division games. In 1995 he moved to the second division Brummell Sendai . At the end of 1997 he ended his career as a football player.
