T-122 Sakarya
The T-122 Sakarya is a multiple rocket launcher system in Turkey, it is produced by the arms company Roketsan .

The rocket launcher entered service in 1997. The total weight of the system is 22 tons. The missiles for the system are developed and produced by MKEK and Roketsan , so the T-122 can fire missiles with cluster munitions or grenades with a caliber of 122.4 mm. The maximum range is 40 kilometers. The rockets can be fired in single mode or in volleys, an 80-second bombardment is sufficient to cover an area of 500 m × 500 m.
The system is mounted on an all-terrain MAN truck with the 6x6 drive formula. The vehicle reaches a top speed of 75 km / h and has a range of 970 kilometers. A 12.7 mm machine gun is available as secondary armament .
The accuracy is given thanks to GPS with ten meters. Within NATO , the system has the designation number: 1055 27 004 6756. The Turkish army currently has 130 rocket launchers of this type (as of December 2019).
In January 2017, at least one T-122 is said to have been on Syrian territory, as part of Operation Euphrates Shield, near the city of Al-Bab . In June 2020, a T-122 was spotted in the Libyan city of Tarhuna.
