content

Gertrud Stranitzki is the owner of a tailor's workshop in Berlin and works as an interim master for the fashion house Kleines & Wolf. In addition, she also takes care of the problems of other people. For example, she tries to protect one of her employees from a supposed marriage swindler or, as part of a rehabilitation measure, takes on a young woman with a criminal record as a trainee.

Others

Although the series only consists of 13 episodes, it was shot and broadcast piecemeal over three years. In the first two seasons Walter Tuch was behind the camera, in the third season Sepp Riff took over this task.

Inge Meysel once again played her star role as a resolute woman with a strong face and with her heart in the right place. Because of the success, the author Curth Flatow wrote a follow-up series in which Inge Meysel portrayed Gertrud Stranitzki's twin sister as Ida Rogalski .

Numerous well-known actors took part in episode roles, including Helga Feddersen , Joachim Wolff , Gerhard Hartig , Hans Irle , Liane Hielscher , Karl-Ulrich Meves , Herbert Steinmetz , Gerlach Fiedler , Til Erwig and Ingrid von Bothmer . The black and white production was shot in Berlin.
