Ingrid Jutta Maria Freifrau von Bothmer (born January 26, 1918 in Hamburg , † July 21, 2003 in Potsdam- Sacrow) was a German actress .

Life

Bothmer came from the Pomeranian branch of a family of landowners and officers from Lower Saxony and was the daughter of the corvette captain and savings bank official Volbert Freiherr von Bothmer (1882-1948) and Hildegard Bruntsch (1896-1968).

She played in Hamburg at the Ohnsorg and St. Pauli Theater , at the Landesbühne Hannover, but also at theaters in Berlin . She was also known for her numerous guest appearances on German television alongside Harald Juhnke or in 2000 in Til Schweiger's Jetzt oder Nie - Zeit ist Geld (with the trio Gudrun Okras / Christel Peters / Elisabeth Scherer ). Ingrid von Bothmer also played the mother of Hamburg investigator Jan Castorff alias Robert Atzorn in five episodes of the Tatort television series .

Bothmer married Karl-Heinrich Flickenschildt (born January 24, 1910 in Blankenese ; † 1987) in Hamburg on May 2, 1951 . After her divorce in Hamburg in 1958, Bothmer used her maiden name again. Through her marriage she became sister-in-law of the actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt .
