Lists on the subject

The T38 Stilet ( Russian Т-38 Стилет ) is an anti-aircraft missile system that is developed and manufactured by the Belarusian company Tetraedr . It is an advancement of the Soviet 9K33-Osa upgrade program 9K33-1T Osa-1T .

technology

The T38 mobile anti-aircraft missile system is designed to protect army units, industrial and military facilities from attacks by modern air assault weapons that fly at low and medium altitudes. It should be able to capture targets with a radar cross-section of 0.03 m². The T38 can detect and identify targets while in motion, but the missiles are fired when the vehicle is stationary. The T38 system includes a major upgrade of the outdated 9K33 Osa weapon system, with digital hardware replacing much of the original land roll radar system and a computerized system supporting the CLOS automatic missile guidance system. The upgrade also includes modern control panels and displays as well as a new electro-optical target tracking system. However, the T38 Stilet is limited in its ability to pursue and combat multiple targets at the same time when compared to the Russian-built 9K330 Tor and 96K6 Panzir phased array systems .

Weapon platform

A T38 battery includes four launch vehicles and various support vehicles.

Anti-aircraft missile T382 The T382 missile is 3.2 m long and weighs 126.3 kg, the HE warhead 23 kg. The missiles are transported in cylindrical containers on the carrier vehicle, from which the launch takes place. A combat vehicle can carry up to eight missiles. The guided missile reaches up to 900 m / s or Mach 2.5. It is remotely controlled from the gate, which tracks the trajectories of the target and missile, via additional pulses in the fire control radar signal and can maneuver with up to 40 g. The warhead is detonated by a radar proximity fuse. A T382 missile is said to have a percentage hit probability of up to 90% against various aerial targets.

T381 launch vehicle The T381 launch vehicle is based on an all-terrain truck of the type MZKT-6922 20 (6 × 6) from the Belarusian vehicle manufacturer Minski Zavod Koljosnych Tjagachei . The vehicle is equipped with a Russian JaMZ -7513.10- diesel engine that has an output of 420 hp. In addition to the reconnaissance station with identification device, there are a maximum of eight T382 missiles, which are installed in launch containers in a 2 × 2 configuration to the left and right of the antenna system. Alternatively, it is possible to launch 9M33M2 / 3 missiles from the Osa complex. According to the manufacturer, a maximum speed of 80 km / h is reached on the road.

Other escort vehicles

designation task
T383 Transport and loading vehicle, equipped with a loading crane and up to 24 missiles and up to 1000 liters of fuel for the MZKT launch vehicle.
T384 Radio alignment vehicle (AV)
T385 , T386 , T387 and T388 Maintenance vehicles for vehicles, missiles and other equipment

export

The system will be presented at armaments fairs, for example an early version of the T38 Stilet was offered at IDEX 2011 in the United Arab Emirates . So far it has been demonstrably exported to Azerbaijan .
