TRT Çocuk is a television program for children operated by the Turkish public broadcaster TRT .
history
The TRT has broadcast children's programs since the introduction of television. In the early and afternoon programs of TRT 1 and TRT INT , for example, the programs Sesame Street (Susam Sokağı) and the game show BilBul or the children's news Çocuk-Haberleri were broadcast; the latter roughly correspond to the program logo! of ZDF . Education and entertainment have always played a role in the children's programs. In November 2008, TRT launched TRT Çocuk, its own thematic channel for children.
Broadcast times and program
TRT Çocuk starts the daily program at 6 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m. During this time, cartoons, knowledge shows, children's news, children's films and interactive game shows are broadcast. In the evening program, TRT Çocuk is aimed at older children up to 13 years of age.
