The TSV 1947 Ebensfeld is a gymnastics and sports club from the market Ebensfeld with the departments women's gymnastics, football , athletics , mother-father-child gymnastics, tennis and volleyball . The association was founded on January 10, 1947.
After a successful regional league season in 2014/15, the first men's football team was promoted to the Bavarian regional league for the first time in the club's history and thus celebrated the club's greatest success story.

1st men's team
In 2009 the team rose from the district class to the district league . Three years later, she established herself in the district league before she celebrated promotion to the Bavarian Northwest State League in 2015 .
The team has been competing in the Oberfranken West district league since the 2016/17 season, after narrowly failing in the second round of relegation against the second team of SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth .
DFB lap of honor
After a successful application for the DFB lap of honor, the original FIFA World Cup trophy of the German national soccer team could be viewed on June 2, 2015 in Ebensfeld on the sports grounds of the TSV.
