The grave TT92 ( T heban T omb - Theban grave number 92 ) is located in Thebes- West near the modern place Luxor in Egypt in the necropolis that is now called el-Qurna . The tomb belongs to the cupbearer of King Suemniut, who lived and officiated under Amenhotep II .

The grave complex has an above-ground burial chapel carved into the rock, some of which is decorated, and an underground burial chamber (which apparently has not yet been investigated further). The burial chapel consists of three parts. There is a first hall supported by two pillars . A long transverse hall connects to the north. Only the east side is painted. Further north there is a long hall with a niche in the far north.

The paintings in the burial chapel are relatively well preserved. They show many scenes as they are known from other burial chapels. Among them are depictions of Suemniut with his wife, as they sit in front of the sacrificial table. In the transverse hall there is a scene that shows Suemniut and his family hunting in the marshes. Many scenes were never completed, and the stages in which the Theban murals were made can be documented here. In the first hall you can only see preliminary drawings of the figures on the east wall, with a checkerboard line pattern serving as a painting aid. In the transverse hall there is another unfinished scene on the east wall. On the far right you can see Suemniut and his wife. The figures are mostly finished, but there are no inscriptions. In front of them (left) are offerings. In front of the offerings stands a figure, the outline of which has been completed, but which is not painted in color. Behind her the wall has only been smoothed and there are guidelines for further figures, only four of which are outlined.
