The Suara Timor Lorosae Corporation (STL Corporation) is a media company in East Timor .

Overview

The STL Corporation emerged from the daily Suara Timor Lorosae . The Suara Timor Lorosae Corporation also owns the television station TV-STL , the radio station STL Radio FM (RSTL), the web platform STL Online, the Timor Journalism Training Center , Nuno-Malau Printing and the Dili Post .

Workforce and facilities

STL Corporation has 57 employees, 14 of whom are women. In addition to two people in management, 20 journalists work on all of the company's platforms, six on television, radio and online and six as local reporters.

General Director, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of STL Corporation is Salvador JX Soares (as of July 2012).

The company has two buildings. You are in Surik Mas (Fatumeta, Bairro Pite , Dili ). The main building with management, library, training center and exhibition rooms was built in 2005 with donations from the Japanese government. The second building from 2007 was financed by the Finnish government and is called Uuistallo News House in Finnish . The production and printing facilities are on the ground floor, and the news room, post-processing, television and radio studio on the upper floor.
