TVNET (also spelled TVNet, Tvnet or TV Net, proper spelling tvnet) is a Turkish news broadcaster based in Istanbul . He belongs to the Albayrak media group , which in turn is part of Albayrak Holding .

Initially, a test program was run under the name ATR, and on January 1, 2007, regular broadcasting operations under the name TVNET began. The station specializes in news as well as political discussions and reports. He is considered to be close to the ruling Justice and Recovery Party (AKP) and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan .

Editor-in-chief İbrahim Karagül is also editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Yeni Şafak, which is also part of Albayrak Holding . Other newspaper authors are also often seen as moderators and commentators on TVNET. The best-known TVNET programs include the talk show Akıl Odası (“Room of Reason”) hosted by Yeni Şafak author Nedret Ersanel and the program Komplo Teori (“Conspiracy Theory”).
