Taaffe Ridge is a rocky mountain ridge up to 75  m high on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Vestfold Mountains it extends in an east-northeast direction to the moraines on the edge of the polar plateau at the eastern end of the Langnes Peninsula .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after John McM. Taaffe, the chief diesel generator set mechanic at Davis Station in the Antarctic winter of 1970.
