Tadpole Iceland (of English tadpole , tadpole ' ) is an island in the group of Biscoe Islands off the Graham Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately north of Ferin Head .
Participants of the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave it the descriptive name based on its shape in 1959.
