Tajik Academic Opera and Ballet House

The Tajik Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (actually Tajik Aini State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater ; Tajik Театри давлатии академии опера ва балети ба номи Садриддин Айнӣ , Russian Таджикский государственный академический театр оперы и балета имени Садриддина Айни ) is the most important musical theater Tajikistan . It was founded in 1936 as the Tajik Music Theater in Dushanbe and renamed to its current name in 1940. In 1941 it was awarded the Order of Lenin . The opera and ballet house bears the name of the Tajik writer Sadriddin Aini .
