The Tajik-language Wikipedia ( Tajik Википедиаи Тоҷикӣ , Wikipediai Todschikij; in Arabic script ویکیپدیای تاجیکی ) is the Wikipedia in Tajik language .
history
It belongs to the group of language versions for Iranian languages and is the second largest edition. With more than 95,000 articles on November 12, 2018, it is considered the 64th largest language version of Wikipedia.
The Tajik-language Wikipedia was founded by the then English teacher Ibrohim Rustamow ( Tajik Иброҳим Рустамов ) and started on January 27, 2004. The users ( Tajik корбар , pl корбарон ) come mainly from Tajikistan ; most speak Tajik as their mother tongue. There are 5 admins, u. a. Shuhrat Sadiev .
Like the Kazakh and Uzbek Wikipedia editions, the Tajik language Wikipedia is written in two different alphabets , namely the Cyrillic and Latin alphabet. However, the Cyrillic alphabet is used by default.
