Taffy is a 2019 French - American animated series with 46 episodes. The UK premiere took place on January 7, 2019 on Boomerang . The German premiere took place on July 15, 2019 on the German version of the station.

The rich Mrs. Münzberg lives in a luxurious villa with her dog Bentley. The raccoon Zecki, who lives in the garbage dump, is jealous of the beautiful life Bentley leads. When he sees that Bentley is wearing a red ribbon, he grabs one from an empty box of chocolates and is henceforth mistaken for the kitten "Taffy" by Mrs. Münzberg. Bentley, who sees through Taffy's game, tries from then on to take the ribbon away from him in every possible way, and in this way to expose him. Often he is on the verge of putting the annoying raccoon out of his life for good, but at the end of each episode everything is as usual.

The series was created at Cyber Group Studios and directed by Ahmed Guerrouache . The producer is Mariana Trevino and the music was composed by Fabien Nataf . Authors are Jon Dalgaard, Jordan Gershowitz, Evan Menzel and Joe Vitale.
It premiered on January 7, 2019 on Boomerang in the UK. The German version of the station has been broadcast since July 15, 2019. A German free TV premiere is planned for the 2019/20 season on the Disney Channel .
