Taichi Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 太 一 , Satō Taichi ; born August 23, 1977 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Satō learned to play soccer on the school team at Hanasaki Tokuharu High School . He signed his first contract with Urawa Reds in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed six first division games. In 1999 he moved to the second division Omiya Ardija . For the club he completed 26 games. In 2001 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . For the club, he completed nine games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
