Taies Farzan

Taies Farzan (* before 1980 in Tehran ) is a Turkish- German- Iranian actress , film director and producer .

Life

Farzan was born in Iran and attended elementary school there from 1980 to 1984. After her parents moved to Turkey , she continued attending school there and went to a Turkish high school after primary school. In 1990 Farzan came to Germany , where she graduated from high school in 1993.

Farzan subsequently worked as a theater, film and television actress both in Germany and in Turkey (permanent series role in Kader ) and as a radio play speaker for the radio. Her own short film White Lies received the 2007 award for “Best International Director Debut” at the “LA Independent Film and Video Festival”. As a producer she was u. a. also involved in Daryush Shokof's Breathful (Germany, 2007). She played the lead role as Atossa Azad in the 2010 film Hitler's Grave by Daryush Shokof .

Farzan received her training as an actress through various seminars, acting schools and workshops since her school days. Farzan works in Persian, Turkish, English and German and has a basic knowledge of Kurdish.
