Taiga Maekawa ( Japanese 前 川 大河 , Maekawa Taiga ; born June 13, 1996 in Settsu , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Taiga Maekawa learned to play football in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2015. The club from Osaka , a metropolis in Osaka prefecture , played in the second highest Japanese league, the J2 League . From 2016 to 2018 he was loaned to the second division club Tokushima Vortis in Tokushima . For Tokushima he completed 85 second division games. The 2019 season he was loaned to Avispa Fukuoka , also playing in the second division . With the club from Fukuoka he played 40 times in the second division. In 2020 he returned to the club from Osaka, which is now in the top division, after being loaned.
