Taiwan Isuzu Motors Co., Ltd. (台灣 五十鈴 汽車工業 股份有限公司) was an automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturer in Taipei , Taiwan and a subsidiary of Isuzu .

history

The company was founded in 1995 and was responsible for the assembly and sales of automobiles and commercial vehicles.

Isuzu initially held a 51% stake, while the Japanese trading company Itochu Corp. 19% and Taiwanese Sanfu Motors Industrial Co. owned the remaining 30%. When Prince Motors acquired a 50% stake in Taiwan Isuzu Motors in 2006, the Isuzu stake at the time fell to 39.5%, while Itochu Corp retained its stake of 10.5% at the time. Just two years later, Prince Motors sold 30% of its stake again.

The company was last mentioned in Isuzu's 2011 annual report.

Taipei Triangle Motors has been the sole Isuzu sales partner in Taiwan since 2011 .
