Takao Aeba
Takao Aeba ( Japanese 饗 庭 孝男 , Aeba Takao ; * January 27, 1930 ; † February 21, 2017 ) was a Japanese literary scholar .
Life
Aeba made his debut in 1966 with a work on post-war Japanese literature called Sengo bungaku ron . With the western literature and culture he dealt with Ishi to hikari no shisō (The Philosophy of Stone and Light, 1971). This was followed by literary and epistemological works such as Hanrekishishugi no bungaku (Antihistorical Literature, 1972), Zettai e no katsubō (Thirst for the Absolute, 1972) and Furansu romanesuku (French Romanesque, 1999).
