Takashi Uemura ( Japanese 上 村 崇 士 , Uemura Takashi ; born December 2, 1973 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Uemura learned to play soccer on the school team at Kunimi High School . He signed his first contract with the Yokohama Wings in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1993 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 1995 he moved to the second division Vissel Kobe . In 1996 he was runner-up in the Japan Football League with the club . For the club he completed 16 games. In 1997 he moved to league rivals Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 22 games. In 1999 he moved to Kawasaki Frontale . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 1999 he became champions of the J2 League with the club. In 2000 he moved to the first division club Cerezo Osaka . In 2001 he moved to league rivals JEF United Ichihara . At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
