Takatoshi Matsumoto ( Japanese 松本 昂 聡 Matsumoto Takatoshi ; born September 5, 1983 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Matsumoto learned to play football on the Kyoto Purple Sanga youth team . He signed his first contract with the Kyoto Purple Sanga in 2002 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed five first division games. In 2004 he moved to league rivals FC Tokyo . In 2005 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe . In 2006 he moved to the second division club Shonan Bellmare . For the club he completed 50 league games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 11 league games. Then he played with the MIO Biwako Kusatsu . At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
