Takuya Itō ( Japanese 伊藤 琢 矢 Itō Takuya ; born June 11, 1974 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Itō learned to play football in the school team of Ina Sogo Gakuen High School and the university team of Senshū University . He signed his first contract in 1997 with NTT Kanto (today: Omiya Ardija). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1999 he moved to Saitama SC . In 2001 he moved to third division Sagawa Express Tokyo . In 2006 he moved to Fagiano Okayama . At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose to the Japan Football League . In 2009 he moved to league competitor New Wave Kitakyushu (today: Giravanz Kitakyushu). At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J2 League . In 2011 he moved to Raj-Pracha FC . At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
