Takuya Kawaguchi ( Japanese 川口 卓 哉 , Kawaguchi Takuya ; born October 11, 1978 in Hokkaido ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Kawaguchi learned to play soccer on the school team at Sapporo Shiraishi High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with the Bellmare Hiratsuka (today: Shonan Bellmare). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 1999 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 82 games. In 2002 he moved to the first division club Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed eight first division games. In 2003 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . For the club he completed 21 games. At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
