Takuya Marutani ( Japanese 丸 谷 拓 也 Marutani Takuya ; born May 30, 1989 in Tottori Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Marutani learned to play soccer on the school team at Sakai High School . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2008 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 23 first division games. In August 2012 he was loaned to the second division club Ōita Trinita . At the end of the 2012 season, the club rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 30 league games. In 201 he returned to Sanfrecce Hiroshima. With the club he became Japanese champion in 2015 . For the club, he completed 35 top division games. In 2018 he moved to the second division club Ōita Trinita. In 2018 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 45 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
