Takuya Miyamoto ( Japanese 宮本 卓 也 Miyamoto Takuya ; born July 8, 1983 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Miyamoto learned to play football in the youth team of Sanfrecce Hiroshima and the university team of the Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Cerezo Osaka in 2006 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 43 league games. In 2008 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated back to the J2 League. For the club, he completed 142 league games. In 2013 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he completed 22 league games. At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
