The Valley of Hope ( English Hope Valley ) is a 5 km long valley near the western end of South Georgia . It extends from Undine Harbor in an east-northeast direction.
The German explorer Ludwig Kohl-Larsen mapped and named the valley during his visit to South Georgia between 1928 and 1929.
