Talegaon Dabhade is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra . The city is located approx. 35 km from the metropolis of Pune .
The city is part of the Pune District . Talegaon Dabhade has municipal council status . The city is divided into 25 wards . It had a total of 56,435 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 29,033 were men and 27,402 women.
