The Talmühlequelle is a karst spring near Beuron in the Upper Danube Valley in Baden-Württemberg .
description
The Talmühlequelle is located east of the Neidingen district behind an inn. It is contained in a masonry canal for the public drinking water supply and is located on the site of the waterworks of the water supply association Hohenberggruppe . The water arises from a layer joint in the area of the Lacunosamergel of the lower rock limestone formation of the White Jura and after a few meters flows into the Danube . The discharge averages around 200 liters per second.
There is an underground connection between the Talmühle spring and the overflow spring, the so-called Lochbrunnen (60 l / s), located about 500 m further on the mountain slope . To protect against external water pollution, the source pot of the hole well had to be closed with a massive superstructure.
