The Tama County Courthouse in Toledo , the Justice and Administration Building ( Courthouse ) of Tama County of the Middle East US -amerikanischen state of Iowa .
The current building is the second courthouse in Tama County, founded in 1843. The first building was a two-story building constructed in 1854. It was replaced by what is now the Tama County Courthouse in 1867.
The two-story brick building was designed by the architect PB McCullough in Romanesque Revival built style. The building was completed by a bell tower completed in 1892 .
In 1981 the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places with reference number 81000269 .
