Taman Mini Indonesia Indah
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a theme park in southeast Jakarta near Kampung Rambutan, Indonesia . The 100 hectare park features true-to-scale traditional houses from all over Indonesia. The idea for the park was designed by Madame Tien Suharto in 1971 and opened in 1975. Numerous families had to leave their country for the construction.

In the traditional houses u. a. traditional household items, crafts and clothing on display. There are also museums, theaters, restaurants and a gondola lift with which you can float in a circle over the park. Traditional dance performances and handicraft demonstrations can be seen especially on Sundays. The park is divided into Indonesian regions.
State-of-the-art museums for energy, natural history and technology are also located here. The multi-vision show “Indonesia” there is interesting. A modern theater was also inaugurated there in 1997.
The former East Timor pavilion is a special feature. Since the province of Timor Timur Indonesia was lost and now forms the state of East Timor , the provincial pavilion was converted into the East Timor Museum.
