Tamilla Rashidovna Abasova
Tamilla Raschidowna Abassowa ( Russian Тамилла Рашидовна Абасова ; born December 19, 1982 in Moscow ) is a former Russian track cyclist and seven-time European champion.
In 1999 Tamilla Abasova had her first major international success when she was runner-up in the junior sprint world championship . Until 2006 she was seven times European champion in sprint, keirin and 500 m time trial . In addition, she was able to win several races in track cycling world cups .
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens Abasova won the silver medal in the sprint and also at the 2005 World Track Championships in Los Angeles .
