Tamina Amadyar

Tamina Amadyar (* 1989 in Kabul ) is a German painter .

biography

Tamina Amadyar was born in Kabul in 1989. From 2008 to 2014 studied at the Dusseldorf Art Academy and was a master student of the Danish artist Tal R . Amadyar has received scholarships from numerous foundations. In 2016 she was listed in Forbes 30 under 30 of art by Forbes magazine . She lives and works in Berlin.

Works

The abstract, sometimes intensely colored paintings by Amadyar are inspired by personal memories of places and situations by the artist. Amadyar uses traditional glue or rabbit glue , not only as a primer for her canvases, but also as a binding agent for the color pigments , which results in a basically contradicting effect of fluidity and density, as well as transparency and cohesion in her pictures.
