Tammispää

Tammispää is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lohusuu ( Lohusuu vald ). It is located in Ida-Viru County ( East Wierland ) in northeast Estonia .
Description and history
The village has 102 inhabitants (as of January 4, 2010). It is right on the banks of Lake Peipsi ( Peipsi järv ).
Tammispää was first mentioned in 1599 under the name Wieska Tamista and in 1601 as Tamispe .
