Tang Xuezhong

Tang Xuezhong ( Chinese  湯學忠  /  汤学忠 , Pinyin Tāng Xuézhōng ; born March 31, 1969 ) is a Chinese former road cyclist .

Tang Xuezhong took part in the Peace Drive for China in May 1988 and started four months later at the Summer Olympics in Seoul in the road race, where he crossed the finish line with the peloton and finished 44th. At the next Summer Olympics in Barcelona in 1992 he was 39th in the road race behind the winner Fabio Casartelli . At the Tour of the Philippines in 1998 he reached 20th place. In 1999 and 2001 he was twice in the top ten of the Tour of South China Sea . After finishing fourth in the Tour de Korea in 2000 , Tang won the overall ranking of the Tour of Korea in the 2002 season.
