The 41st International Peace Tour (Course de la paix) was a cycling race that was held from May 9th to 23rd, 1988.

The 41st edition of the International Peace Tour consisted of 13 individual stages and led over a total length of 2008 km from Bratislava via Katowice to Berlin . The team winner was the USSR . The best mountain driver was Uwe Ampler from the GDR.

A total of 120 drivers from 20 nations were at the start. For the first time, the selection of Brazil was there.
